- OCTOBER WHITE WINES -
Brise Marine 2022 Blanc . Provence, France
A fresh blend of Clairette and Ugni blanc grapes. Fine character on the nose with floral notes, and a light, subtle finish. This wine will pair perfectly with fish dishes, such as a filet of sole or trout with almonds.
Viverello 2022 Bianco . Verona, Italy
Cold-vat fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain freshness and citrus fruit characters, this bright coloured white wine is the perfect aperitif. Chill in the fridge and crack open after work or with your friends for a great drink with light aperitivo snacks!
Montelouro Douro 2021 Branco . Barcelos, Portugal
A blend of Viosinho, Gouveio and Rabigato grapes. Bright yellow in colour with tropical fruit aroms. Lovely and balanced on the palate, fresh with apricot and pineapple nuances. Lovely aperitif wine!
- OCTOBER ROSÉ WINE -
Viverello 2022 Rosato . Verona, Italy
The fruit was crushed and held in the press where it was cold macerated for 24 hours to extract colour from the skins. The wine displays fresh fruit characters of cherry and strawberry on the nose. The palate is dry displaying summer red berry fruit characters which linger and finish fresh and crisp.
- OCTOBER RED WINES -
Brise Marine Rouge . Provence, France
A beautiful balanced blend of Cabernet, Grenache, Syrah. Purple rim in the glass, spicy on the nose, supple and finely balanced on the palate. Can be served slightly chilled. This red vin de pays can be enjoyed in winter with meat stews or paired with cow’s milk cheeses at the end of the meal.
Viverello 2022 Bianco . Verona, Italy
Ruby red colour, fruity with notes of blackcurrant and blackberry. Supple, soft and easy-drinking on the palate, elegant and well balanced due to its low acidity and light tannins. Could be served slighty chilled, perfect with risotto and most pasta and meat dishes.
Montelouro Douro 2021 Tinto . Barcelos, Portugal
A blend of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grapes. Ruby colour with cherry nuances. There is a lovely harmony between ripe red fruit and drying notes of coffee and vanilla. Full-bodied, balanced and structured with soft tannins, that are persistent but elegant. Excellent with filet mignon and any non-fatty meat and aged / dry cheeses.
