October 2021 Free Gift . Sash & Fritz Vodka
This month, we are giving away Sash & Fritz – that’s German vodka combining Russian tradition with German precision and perfection. WHITE WINES
Las Mondes 2019 Sauvignon Blanc . Central Valley, Chile
A tropical nose with gooseberry, asparagus and hints of bell pepper. The abundance of flavours carry through onto the palate with a fresh, crisp acidity. Best enjoyed with seafood, lightly flavoured pasta or sushi.
Le Petit Gascôn 2020 Blanc . Côtes de Gascogne, France
This fresh blend of Colombard and Ugni Blanc is crisp and light and perfect to drink after-work, early evening with light fare. The palate hosts lively citrus fruit characters and finishes with a lovely acidity that would fit seafood and salads.
Buitengewoon “White Blossom" 2020 Chenin Blanc . Western Cape, South Africa
An aromatic white wine with light golden yellow colour. The nose is refreshing with fine aroma’s of citrus and a hint of tropical fruits. The taste has also the same fruit-driven character. Pleasant aftertaste.
ROSÉ WINES
Pleno 2019 Rosado . Navarra, Spain
This lightly coloured rosé hosts beautiful fresh characters of strawberry and cherry, with some light green vegetable notes that make it a brilliant drinker. Excellent with fish dishes, salads, after-work or weekend aperitif drinks – serve chilled in the sun!
RED WINES
Dona Helena Peninsula de Setubal Tinto . Portugal
The lovely soft and easy-drinking red has pronounced fruit aromas when young, leading to notes of dried fruit and spice. The tannins are soft and round and well- structured, with a great finish. Perfect with grilled sausages or roasted chicken.
Langverwagt 2019 Rhône Blend . Western Cape, South Africa
A Grenache, Shiraz and Viognier blend, with intense aromas of red fruits, pepper and sweet spices. Bright in the glass with a velvet mouthfeel with soft tannins and a lingering aftertaste. Excellent with sauasage, stews and spicy meat dishes.
Giuliana Vicini 2020 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOP . Italy
This award-winning wine is an enjoyable, fresh and ready-to-drink Montepulciano, the nose expresses fruity hints of cherry and plum with notes of licorice. In the mouth it is excellent in length, with great balance between young tannins and softness. Pair with meatballs, baked chicken with olives, aubergine parmigiana, grilled beef steak.
