June 2024 Free Gift . Organic Pink Peppercorns from Madagascar !
In this month’s Brad’s Wine case, we are offering all subscribers a tube of Organic Pink Peppercorns from Madagascar. Characterised by their mild, sweer and slightly fruity flavour, these pepper corns are suitable as a finishing spice or for late additions in cooking.
- JUNE WHITE WINES -
Just B Pop Arancio . Farigliano, Italy
Pale yellow with green hues. Lots of tropical fruit, including pineapple, passion fruit and stone fruit flavours such as nectarine, with a hint of citrus and floral aromas. Fresh on the palate with lime and fennel seed chcracters. Long, fresh finish and refreshing aftertaste. Best paired with vegetable dishes especially mushrooms, fish, seafood, and white meats.
Haltinger 2021 Weisburgunder . Winzer, Germany
This Weissburgunder offers a delicate mirabelle aroma complemented by subtle chestnut nuances. On the palate, it is juicy with notes of honey and ripe apples, balanced by a well-integrated acidity. An excellent companion to fine fish dishes or light ragout.
Petite Envie 2023 Blanc. Languedoc-Roussillon, France
This is a fantastic blend of Viognier, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat, Gewurtztraminer and Vermentino. What a mouthful! Pale with pearl reflections, fresh aromatics with citrus and round and fresh to drink with dominant tangerine notes. For aperitif, white fish and lemon pie.
- JUNE ROSÉ WINE -
Eric Gelly 2023 Rosé . Languedoc-Roussillon, France
100% Grenache Noir. Pale rose petal pink in colour, the nose is dominant with red fruit salad. The palate is soft and round , with lingering strawberry and raspberry and a refreshing finish. Perfect for light tapas.
- JUNE RED WINES -
Just B Pop 2020 Rosso . Farigliano, Italy
This Nat Raw Wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Aged 10 months in oak, this deep ruby coloured Rosso shows great structure with intense and fruity notes on the nose, and Dry with a pleasantl almondy taste with a long finish. Matches best with red meats, lamb, roast meats, and game dishes.
Haltinger 2019 Spätburgunder . Winzer, Germany
This Spätburgunder showcases typical aromas of blackberries with subtle cherry nuances. The expressive dark berry flavors are complemented by a long finish and a refined tannin structure. It pairs excellently with hearty dishes, making it a perfect match for game and beef.
Petite Envie 2023 Rouge . Languedoc-Roussillon, France
A rich blend of Pinot Noir, Carignan, Marselan, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, all from older vines giving this wine great complexity and concentration. Deep garnet colour, with violet hues. On the nose, hints of spice and pepper. Soft on the palate, perfect with grilled meats and stews.
