- AUGUST WHITE WINES -
Villa Sandi 2021 Pinot Grigio . Ventia, Italy
Pale yellow colour with fresh aromas of citrus fruits and on the palate, the wine is dry, round and hearty, with a fruity and nutty finish. A wonderful, medium-bodied Pinot Grigio with a smooth mouthfeel and balanced acidity. Perfect with Mediterranean appetizers, ham and melon or creamy cheeses.
Navarra Pleno 2022 Blanco . Spain
The pleasantly light white from northern Spain shows a straw yellow colour in the glass. Pleasant bouquet of tropical fruits; refreshing acidity on the palate. Goes very well with fish dishes. Well chilled, a perfect white!
Fonte da Serrana 2020 Branco . Alentejo, Portugal
Produced from Antão Vaz (45%), Arinto (45%) and Semillion (10%). Radiant green-yellow with glittering reflections. The bouquet reveals wonderful notes of fresh grapefruit and ripe mango accompanied by subtle hints of juicy peach. On the palate, this white wine is expressive with wonderful freshness.
- AUGUST ROSÉ WINE -
Pleno 2022 Rosado . Navarra, Spain
This lightly coloured rosé hosts beautiful fresh characters of strawberry and cherry, with some light green vegetable notes that make it a brilliant drinker. Excellent with fish dishes, salads, after-work or weekend aperitif drinks – serve chilled in the sun!
- AUGUST RED WINES -
Cinquantino 2020 Rosso . Salice Salentino, Italy
100% Negroamaro. Strong, dark red with plenty of ripe berries, cherries, cassis and blackberries. A nice vanilla flavour joins in the aftertaste. The tannins are present, soft and almost sweet. This Rosso was stored in half- length casks for 6 months. Goes well with beef, pasta and lamb.
Pleno 2021 Tempranillo . Navarra, Spain
Brilliant dark cherry red. The bouquet is characterized by typical fruit aromas from Spain's noble grape variety Tempranillo (strawberries and raspberries), but also sour cherries and spices; full-bodied on the palate. Goes very well with rustic meat dishes, but can also be combined with grilled poultry.
Fonte da Serrana 2021 Tinto . Alentejo, Portugal
A blend of Aragonêz, Touriga Nacional and Trincadeira Preta. Bright red colour with intense violet tones. Aromatic nose with red fruits, floral notes and spices. Well-structured body with elegance and freshness, medium-length finish. Very good with red meat, lamb and meaty fish with a dominant taste.
