- AUGUST WHITE WINES -
Lou Vitis 2020 Blanc . Luberon, France
40% Vermentino, 40% Grenache Blanc, 20% Ugni blanc. Brilliant pale colour, intense and fruity with dominant apricot and pear flavours. On the palate, further exotic notes are emphasized by a beautiful round structure. Ideal as an aperitif, excellent with fresh goat cheese on toast or Mediterranean fish dishes.
Viriatus 2021 Verdejo . Castilla y León, Spain
100% Verdelho, this fresh and lively white wine has a lovely acid backbone, with some floral characters on the nose and crisp and full fruit characters on the palate. Serve chilled with or without food, the perfect aperitif wine.
Carlin de Paolo DOC 2021 Chardonnay . Piemonte, Italy
This 100% Chardonnay from the cool-climate region of Piemonte is tank fermented (unoaked) and shows beautiful characters of green apple and nectarine on the nose and some tropical fruit on the palate - structured and crisp. A wonderful wine to marry with fresh seafood dishes or roast chicken and pork.
- AUGUST ROSÉ WINE
Viriatus 2021 Rosé . Castilla y León, Spain
Produced from the indigenous 100% Prieto Picudo grape, this is a lovely fresh rosé wine. Fresh floral nuances on the nose with summer fruit characters of raspberry, strawberry and cherry fill the palate. Perfect for the summer!
- AUGUST RED WINES -
Baron de Cental 2019 Rouge . Ventoux, France
80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. Deep ruby red colour. The nose is intense and dominant with blackcurrant. On the palate, the Grenache expresses richness and balance. A lovely and fruity red with silky tannins. Serve slightly cooled with your favourite red meat, game, cheese and especially good with lamb brochettes with roasted eggplant.
Alboca 2019 Tinta de Toro . Castilla y León, Spain
100% Tempranillo. Medium coloured red wine, with cherry and red berry aromatics leading to a fine and elegant mouthfeel of forest fruits. The long and elegant finish on this wine makes it the perfect match for cold-cuts and aged cheeses.
Carlin de Paolo DOC 2021 Dolcetto . Monferrato, Italy
100% Dolcetto grape. Ruby red with violet tints, the bouquet is intense and fruity. The wine is lively on the palate, soft, harmonious and velvety on the tongue with a plum and sour cherry finish. Excellent with red meat and pasta dishes.
