Blind Corner is a certified organic & biodynamic vineyard & winery. Owners Ben and Naomi Gould started making wines from their sustainably farmed vineyard in 2009, they now run 28 Ha of certified Organic vineyards, built a (legal) winery, are raising two young boys, adopted a 30-year-old French son (also known as employee #1, Simon), elected Neko the vineyard cat, wrangled Leroy and his flock of hippie chicks, plus rehomed a million or so of Simon’s bees. All whilst developing their natural ethos of minimising outside influences where possible. 

Blind Corner 2021 Orange
Sauvignon Blanc & Chenin Blanc, blended in a rolling wild ferment. All skins are left in through the process to add tannin tang and a wonderful mouth texture. The result is a cloudy, yellow / orange-coloured wine that tastes like rainbows and textured like sun. We blend this bit with 3x neutral wild ferment vessel action and add a teeny dash - like teeny - of some estate grown Cabernet to bring it home and makes your eyes understand what your tongue is trying to tell you.

Blind Corner 2021 Rouge
Shiraz 75%, Cabernet 20% & 5% Merlot. All reds foot-crushed, hand-plunged and basket pressed to old oak. Blend the lingering spice of Shiraz and the rich upfront flavour and lingering aftertaste of Cabernet, with the silky soft consistency of Merlot, and you have a Rouge of super delicious deliciousness. This blend has been simply foot-crushed, hand-plunged during wild ferment and basket pressed to old oak for some sleepy time.
